Historical Note
In 1943, Colgate put together a Committee on Post-War International Problems. The minutes from a committee meeting On September 22, 1943 describes the scope of what the committee would be concerned with. It was to "... act as a campus clearing house on peace questions; to cooperate and correspond with off-campus groups interested in the problems of peace; to stimulate study and discussion of peace problems in the vicinity of Colgate."
