Historical Note
According to their Long-Range Planning Report of October 1968, this committee began work at Colgate in 1963. Its first task was a grant proposal submitted to the Ford Foundation. After receiving the grant the committee then began to formulate a development plan known as CRISP: the Colgate Renewal and Improvement Sesquicentennial Program.
