Historical note
The Colgate Little Theatre Group was formed in January 1945. According to the Colgate Banter, "the movement for this organization came entirely from the student body of the Navy V-12 unit. With the help of several professors, including Mr. [Earl] Daniels, who is now director of the group, the Little Theatre was officially recognized..." Their first production was "Brother Orchid," staged at Schine's State Theatre.
