Historical note
The Isle O' Blues Orchestra was formed by six Colgate students around 1923. They went on to great success as a dance orchestra and toured in both the United States and Europe under the leadership of director Lloyd Huntley. A 1926 article in the Binghamton Press reported that they had been called "America's foremost college dance organization."
