Historical note
The Colgate Sociology Club was formed in January 1925. It aimed "to bring to Colgate more speakers on subjects of current social interest, to gather up and outline to the college modern research and thought on social problems, to stimulate, by discussion and thesis, knowledge of and interest in the more important problems of society and to further generally the evolution of the social life of our generation."
