Biographical Note
Jacob Fisk was born on May 30, 1796. In 1826, he graduated from the Baptist Education Society's Seminary in Hamilton, New York, which would eventually become known as Colgate University.
Fisk was ordained and served as a pastor in Lodi (1827-1828), Union Springs, and Williamson (1832-1833). He later resided in Rochester and died there in 1836.
