Includes letters written home by Terry during his time in the service. The letters are mainly to his uncle, aunt, and cousin, and describe his wartime experiences. The collection also includes twentieth century material relating to the custodial history of the collection itself.

Content Description

The collection of postcards was assembled by Michael Lassel ‘69. The postcards within the collection all consist of photos of the Colgate Campus and the town of Hamilton with an emphasis on the buildings and landscapes of those two areas. Additionally, although there is a wide range of dates for the postcards, a large quantity of the postcards date from the 1910’s through 1960’s.

This collection contains production files (which often include programs), publicity materials, audiovisual materials, student scripts, and posters for university-sponsored theater and drama productions at Colgate University, including Summer Theater and the Children's Theater Workshop. Also included are paintings of set designs and costumes by long-time director Atlee Sproul and production records for a 2014 University Theater production, Dreamplay.

This collection contains a diary written by Maria C. Todd from 1840-1841. It includes discussions of her daily life, religious activities, and family, which included sons studying in Hamilton, New York. The diary is dedicated to her son Theodore W. Todd and offers advice to him as he leaves home.
